If you love all things small screen, Boitumelo Thulo, or Boity to those who know her well enough, is doing well presenting the SABC1 youth reality series Zoned. Between her growing work commitments and deciding which invite to accept, Thulo's got some wardrobe insights for LEGiT readers to consider.
What is the most important item in your wardrobe?
It would definitely have to be my black blazer. I can literally style and pair it with anything and everything.
Do you talk fashion with guy friends?
Not usually. I don't recall the subject ever being sparked up during a conversation. But I do know that they (guys) do care about how well a lady dresses and how much effort she puts into the way she looks.

What is your staple outfit for a first date?
I’d say something very simple and casual. Nothing revealing (LOL!) I'd say a nice pair of denims, a simple, comfy top and my infamous black blazer, with a nice pair of heels. And some jewellery… just for fun (hee hee!)
What is the best women's fashion item you've ever seen?
I would have to say the unfailing LBD (Little Black Dress). Every woman looks good in a LBD. No doubt about it.
Which male celebrity's style do you like?
Internationally, Kanye West is undoubtedly one of the most stylish men in the world. Locally I know quite a few stylish guys this side, but I'll give it to Siyabonga Ngwekazi (a.k.a Scoop). He dresses according to what he likes and does not follow the latest trends, or these ridiculous societal rules. He makes every outfit look exciting, new and intriguing. He makes every outfit his own, so high five to him.
What's your ideal holiday destination?
Any place where I can wake up and all I see is clear, beautiful, blue water… somewhere exotic and warm. Maybe Jamaica, Hawaii or Mozambique? Water and sun, equals perfection!
Loafers or sneakers?
Loafers.
Are there any clothes in your wardrobe that you never wear?
Plenty. There are some that I bought, wore once and realised that I actually hate the item of clothing. Smh! It looked good on the mannequin (hee hee!)
Guys wearing make-up, what's your take?
Um… I think it depends on how much make-up we're talking here. A little eyeliner I guess, that's okay if you’re into that kind of stuff. A little bit of powder is okay, I guess. Everything else, I feel, was created for the ladies. It’s just an awkward situation.
