What is the most important style item in your wardrobe?
My skinny denims – I can dress them up or down.

Do you talk fashion with guy friends? 
Yes, I have a very style conscious circle of male friends, all manly men with a classy and cool sense of style!

What is your staple outfit for a first date? 
A tank top, denims, a cute tuxedo jacket, pumps, or your favourite pair of heels should do the trick. All are simple, yet each is flattering.

What is the best women’s fashion item you’ve seen?
An African print clutch bag from a stall by Maria McCloy at Arts on Main – they’re doing lovely stuff.

Which male celebrity’s style do you like?
Ne-Yo and Usher are my internationals, with Khuli Chana and Kabelo Mabalane coming in as my local favourites.

What’s your ideal holiday destination?
Any place out of the city, as long as there's tranquillity and an overload of nature surrounding. I still haven't been, but Knysna looks like that kind of place. Someday soon I hope!

Sneakers.

Are there any clothes in your wardrobe that you never wear?
There are two or three designer dresses that don't quite fit anymore. I'm keeping those for my daughter to wear when she's older so she can have vintage items.

Guys wearing make-up, what’s your take?
Um, no! Only if that man is on a shoot for television, or a magazine, then it’s fine. That's all I have to say about that.
