Bonang Matheba is the epitome of a young, fiery fashion icon. She launched her Face of LEGIT clothing range, Just B, in 2008 and followed that up with a second trendy handbag range, Baby Star, in 2009. Bonang’s a mover and shaker on radio and TV, too. You’ll definitely know her from Live on SABC 1.
When she’s not considering her next fashion statement, Bonang heads up Beehive With The Queen B on one of Joburg’s hottest radio stations, YFM. Add a whole bunch of MC gigs across the country, be it for 50 Cent, the Kardashian sisters or the Metro FM Music Awards, and one thing’s for sure: this spunky 24-year-old is going places and doing it in impeccable style.

Her favourite fashion item? ‘Right now my favourite fashion item is a large animal-print bag I bought from Russell & Bromley. Animal print is a massive trend this year and this arm candy finishes off any look that I go for.’
That one item worn almost every day? ‘My pair of killer shades. Simply put, they complete any look.’
Her style philosophy? ‘Fashion is seasonal and can be bought. It also isn't for everyone. True style is timeless and classic.’
Her favourite fashion icons? ‘Rihanna, Keri Hilson, Olivia Palermo and Blake Lively.’
Her number one style rule: ‘Have fun with fashion. Break rules and don't be scared to take risks.’
